How to Add a New Scanner to Artec Studio

Once a user has installed Artec Installation Center and the latest version of Artec Studio, the next step is to add the scanner to the program.  Both the scanner and the program MUST be registered to the same email account.  The first time the scanner is plugged in with the USB connection, it may take a few moments to install the scanner drivers.  Once that is completed, Artec will automatically recognize the scanner and the user can start scanning!

Occasionally Artec studio does not automatically load the scanner. In that case please follow the instructions below.

1. Open Artec Studio and click on the Scan tab on the top left corner

2. Select the blue Advanced drop down menu

3. Find the Use drop down menu and click the refresh button

4. Select your scanner from the drop down list

After that the scanner and program are ready to go!
